Addiction will not like this move, and it will fight back in any possible way - psychological, mental, physical, social, existential. Addiction will find ways to plant the suggestions, the temptations, the opportunities, the doubts, the cravings, the longing, the stress, the anxiety, the thought of 'just one more cigarette'.
But remind yourself again that you are a warrior in a life-and-death fight. Try not to give addiction too much importance - belittle it, taunt it, play games with it. Convince yourself that this fight is easy!

| Don't let the enemy inflict insecurity on you. Wake up tomorrow and run to the battlefield eagerly. |
|
Wake up like a lion eager for the fight!

You are the master of your body; you are the master of your mind. Once you rid yourself of this insidious addiction you can move forward with your life and conquer anything.
What a wonderful challenge you have taken upon yourself - congratulations! The challenge is well worthwhile and the rewards you will reap are great and many.
You have to make a firm decision, and then act upon it in the manner of a true warrior. You have to move forward and never turn back. Addiction crept in, in disguise like a Trojan horse, into your body's citadel, waiting for night to bring your downfall. But make your heart as firm as a granite rock and don't listen to addiction. Don't show it any compassion.
Please listen. This is like a holy war and you really are fighting for dear life. You have so much to live for - we all have. We're here for a reason, a mysterious reason though it is, and our duty is to live. Choose life!
Remember one thing for now:
It is your decision, and once you've made it, it will carry tremendous power. Make this decision clearly and act upon it.
Tomorrow you will wake up as a new person, a decisive warrior, and you will smoke no more. Throw all your cigarettes away, get rid of the ashtrays and accessories. There's no way back - burn all the bridges with the last cigarette you smoke. | |
